The Red Wood Forest
But much to our delight, the weather was not like this at all! On our first day of filming, we woke up to the sun’s glorious rays. The next day started out just as beautiful. However, after lunch, it started to get cloudy, and soon little droplets of rain started falling. This was serious because we couldn’t film in the rain. So there in the bus, as we were traveling to our next film site, we prayed: “Dear Jesus, we need the rain to stop so that we can continue filming. We know that you are in control of everything, and that you can stop the rain. Thank you. Amen.” When we arrived at the site, I got out of the bus and looked up. Through the parting clouds, the sun was shining bright again! Incredible! A direct answer to our prayer! As mere humans, making the rain stop is a big deal; but to God, it’s as easy as pie. He uses these “little” miracles to strengthen our faith. Experiences such as these remind us that the God of all creation is still in control. " - Jonathan Sharley
