Arches National Park

The first song on our list to film on monday was "No more Night" We left at 4:00 A.M. and headed out to Arches National Park to catch the sun rise. It is amazing how strong the sun is as it comes over the mountains. The filming crew had to struggle with the shadows while the singers had to fight with the sun in their eyes. We ate breakfast after the filming just as the sun started to warm us all up. One of the students, Jessica Hall, took all of Sunday to make us home made cinnamon rolls. It was so good to eat something special while on the road. Most of us were able to take some time off and rest in the afternoon. The sun is too bright in the middle of the day to film under, so most of our filming is done in the early morning and in the late afternoon.
